The two peninsulas in Michigan have lot of
smooth roads great for biking. The Lower one has plenty of
county roads featuring Mackinac Island at the northern tip
with restricted automobile traffic making it ideal for biking
whereas the Upper Peninsula has fewer secondary roads but
there is less traffic.
