A wonderful place for the kids, the science
centre here offers learning with fun. There are science projects
which the kids love to put their hands on. Established nearly
30 years back by the Detroit businessman and philanthropist
Dexter Ferry, the New Detroit Science Centre was among the
first centers for scientific exploration and learning in the
country to include an IMAX® Dome Theatre. It is actually
the only IMAX theatre in Michigan shows a large format film
which is quite popular amongst the locals here. The centre
also has an exhibit floor and program plan where the visitors
are encouraged hands-on interaction, exploration and study

Constructed during the days of King Solomon,
this is one of the most famous temples during its times. It
was built by King Solomon to express his gratitude to the
God he worshipped and served. Being the largest Masonic Temple
in the world it can seat 4,400 people, it has hosted many
of the world's greatest entertainers for four generations.
The interiors of the temple are quite charming. Done up by
George D. Mason the temple has acoustically perfect surroundings
that is one of the most significant factors of the temple.
It is quite unique amongst lots of Masonic buildings because
all the of the various bodies are housed in the same structure.
There are around twelve million cubic feet of space in all,
making it the largest and most complete building of its kind
in the world.
